Last year this was more of a strike against TurboTax, as the TaxCut app cost ten bucks less. This brings up my other complaint about the service: namely, that it's expensive. TaxCut's help will set you back only $19.95 per call, and TaxAct's is free. When I finally did get through the advice was satisfactory, but it cost $29.95 a shot that's pricey. Daytime weekday results were better, but, honestly, that's when you're supposed to be earning the salaries on which you're taxed, not doing your taxes.
